At the end of September, in the hall of the Teaching and Library Complex at 7 Gronostajowa Street, an exhibition entitled "50 years of history of WBBiB" prepared in connection with the Faculty's Jubilee. Several dozen boards show the background of the creation and various aspects of the activities of the Institute of Molecular Biology and then the Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology. The data presented cover the years 1970–2020.

The exhibition was prepared by Martyna Elas and Magdalena Tworzydło, based on published and unpublished materials prepared on the occasion of the earlier anniversaries of the founding of IBM and WBBiB, and interviews with employees of both institutions.

As the authors wrote in the foreword, "It is certainly not a complete or objective story. This, however, does not rule out that it will make you smile and bring back memories, and it will allow the youngest employees and students of WBBiB to learn about our roots.
